ProCheck Sensi Plus
Test for easy and quick efficiency analysis of the washing and rinsing procedures.
If the washing occurs incorrectly, organic particles, including proteins will remain on the surface. Pro-check  SensiPlus allows testing the surface for remaining proteins with very high sensitivity.

Infection prevention for patients and the health risks minimizing of health workers entails the need for effective processes of cleaning, disinfection, and/or sterilization of medical equipment used repeatedly. In the world, there are several standards and norms (EN ISO 15833-1, ANSI/AAMI ST79, HTM 01-01 part D, etc.) regulating the process of cleaning and disinfection of medical tools as well as methods of controlling the effectiveness of this process. In the washing process, it is necessary to remove all traces of blood, body fluids, and impurities from the tools. Failure of the process may result in an undesirable biological load on the tools, increasing the risk of infections. Residues of proteins on the surfaces of tools are universal cleanliness indicators.

Proteins detection

Detection of the proteins is incredibly simple while using Pro-Check SensiPlus. It only requires to swab the surface by a provided swab and then immerse it in a color-changing solution for a few seconds.

If any residue of protein is present the reagent will change color from yellow to green/blue. The color change provides also semi-quantitative results of the checked surface cleanliness.

Pro-Check is a chemical indicator for hygiene monitoring of surfaces. The aim of cleaning processes is to remove oddments and a majority of microorganisms from surfaces. ProCheck allows controlling the performance of these processes, by testing the surfaces for remaining proteins. ProCheck reveals albumin, which is present in a wide spectrum of oddments. ProCheck is not ATP depended.
