Sampling Wipes – Kits for Environmental Surface Sampling

Sterile sampling wipes suitable for effective swabbing various types of surfaces. Available as dry, pre-moistened, or in sets with an appropriate medium for self-moistening, depending on the sampling area and the method used. Wipes are free of bactericides and have been tested to be non-inhibitory. Depending on product configuration individual sets contain wipe, sample bag, and sampling tools (included in the kit or available separately to better match your workflow).

Depending on the configuration, sets contain:

sampling wipe- dry or pre-moistened

sample bag - "Kangaroo" - with a pocket for storing gloves before sampling and placing a description of the sample after collection.

Depending on the configuration, sets contain the following elements:

Dry or pre-moistened

dual bag: special sample bag designed by Mecconti with space for placing the sample on one side and sampling tools on the opposite side. This reinforced leakage proof bag is suitable for homogenization and incubation.

sampling tools: gloves, template

AVAILABLE SAMPLING MATERIALS

viscose sampling wipe – size 25/40cm, dry or pre-moistened with 20 ml of diluent, color available- white
viscose polyester sampling wipe – size 20/38cm, pre-moistened with 10 ml of diluent, colors available- blue, green, pink (depending on diluent used for pre-moistening)

AVAILABLE SAMPLE BAGS

“kangaroo” sample bag – with an additional pocket that keeps the gloves before sampling and can keep a description after- size 180/250mm, with zip closure
dual bag – a special sample bag for placing the sample on one side and sampling tools on the opposite side- size- 180/280mm, with zip closure, suitable for sample homogenization and incubation

AVAILABLE DILUENTS

bpw– buffered peptone water
npb– neutralizing peptone buffer
mrd– maximum recovery diluent

AVAILABLE SAMPLING TOOLS

sampling template- size- 10/10cm, made from a flexible cardboard
disposable gloves- 1 pair/set

SHELF LIFE

1 year from production- for pre-moistened wipes
5 years from production- for dry wipes

STORAGE CONDITIONS

2-25°c- store in dry and ventilated area; protect from light, heat, and moisture in tightly closed original packaging
